A Collection of Vintage Ceramic Ashtrays and Tobacciana Including Rookwood Pottery and Mosaic Tile Company - This assortment consists of vintage ceramic ashtrays and tobacco-related collectibles, featuring authenticated pieces from notable American manufacturers. The group includes three items from Rookwood Pottery of Cincinnati, Ohio: a 1944 circular ashtray in a brown and tan high-gloss glaze embossed with Fourth War Loan commemorative text (shape 6438); a 1938 cobalt blue high-gloss ashtray commemorating the 50th anniversary of the Salvation Army with intertwined SA logo; and a 1923 rectangular tray with a mottled teal crystalline glaze featuring a hunting dog motif for the Southern Ohio Field Trial Association. Also present is a large mid-century modern biomorphic triangular ashtray in a seafoam green glaze marked by the Mosaic Tile Company of Zanesville, Ohio. Completing the lot are two unmarked pieces: a cream-colored Art Deco square ashtray with a central pillar and green geometric accents, and a conical novelty ashtray accessory with hand-painted humorous text and a ribbed green top.
