A Collection of Robinson Ransbottom Blue Crown Stoneware Crocks and Decorative Arts - This lot comprises an assortment of American salt-glazed stoneware and multiple pieces of framed artwork. The stoneware is primarily identified as Robinson Ransbottom Pottery Co. of Roseville, Ohio, based on the presence of characteristic cobalt blue crown stencil marks. The group includes a large cylindrical crock with a crown mark containing the number 15, crocks with crown marks containing the number 8, and a crock with a crown mark containing the number 5 and marked U.S.A. These pieces are finished with dark brown glazed interiors. The collection also includes a 5-gallon two-tone shoulder jug featuring a brown slip-glazed upper portion and a cobalt blue stenciled number 5 on the body, and a small unmarked two-tone utility jar. The decorative items in the lot consist of several framed landscape paintings and prints depicting rural subjects such as mills and livestock, along with a wicker-framed mirror. You must come pay, load and remove during the pickup window of Friday, June 5 from 11 am to 4 pm at the home in Canal Winchester, OH. No exceptions! You don’t have to take it all, just what you want.
