A Collection of Pieces of Roseville Magnolia Art Pottery - This lot consists of a 17-piece collection of Magnolia pattern art pottery manufactured by the Roseville Pottery Company of Zanesville, Ohio. Introduced in 1943, this pattern features embossed white and pink magnolia blossoms on textured gnarled branches against a matte-glazed ground. The collection includes pieces in distinct colorways: a tan and green gradient and a blue gradient. The assortment contains a variety of forms including large handled vases, a low console bowl, an ashtray, numerous handled mugs, and twin-handled open vessels. Specific pieces are marked on the base in relief with Roseville U.S.A. and their corresponding shape numbers, including 181-8, 93-9, and 446-6. Also included in the lot is a single-light candlestick, a small pitcher, and an original framed advertisement for the Magnolia line.
