Panoramic Silver Gelatin Print Assemblies Depicting Mid-20th Century Racetrack Scenes - panoramic photographic assemblies mounted on a single display board. The upper assembly is composed of a trio of individual silver gelatin prints arranged to show a wide-angle view of an empty dirt racetrack enclosed by white post-and-rail fencing. The lower assembly consists of a group of silver gelatin print segments joined to create a single panoramic image of an active mid-20th-century racetrack event. The scene depicts a large crowd of spectators in period attire and vintage automobiles gathered near the track. The prints are mounted to a white board, which is shrink-wrapped with black corner protectors onto a larger cardboard backing. No signatures, maker marks, or edition numbers are present on the front or the reverse. Overall width: approximately 35 inches. Pickup is Wednesday, April 22 from 10 am to 3 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
