Joie Chitwood's Auto Daredevils Powell Speedway Ticket with Photographer's Log, circa 1949 - This vintage yellow cardstock promotional handbill and Admit ticket features advertising for Joie Chitwood's World's Champion Auto Daredevils at Powell Speedway. The piece is dated to approximately 1949 based on a printed reference to new Ford models. The front includes graphic illustrations of stunt driving, an elephant icon for the Jumbo thrill show, and slogans such as Death Stalks the Arena! and America's Greatest Daredevil Stunt Circus! The reverse side functions as a photographer's field record, containing detailed handwritten pencil notes.
