Vintage Motor Racing Textile Patches - A pair of vintage motor racing textile items comprising an embroidered appliqué and a printed patch. The first item is an embroidered appliqué depicting a blue open-wheel race car with a driver. It is rendered in blue, white, gray, and red embroidery on a cream-colored woven fabric background. The car features red-spoked wheels and a driver in a blue helmet and gray suit. The fabric background has irregular, raw edges. The second item is an oval-shaped flock-printed patch featuring the text Speedway ALL STARS OFFICIAL in blue lettering with stars. The material is a white felt-like substrate. Appliqué: 8 inches wide Oval patch: 3.5 inches wide. Pickup is Wednesday, April 22 from 10 am to 3 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
