A Pair of 1920 Ohio Embossed Metal Automobile License Plates - A matched pair of original 1920 Ohio passenger vehicle license plates. These plates are constructed of embossed heavy-gauge metal featuring a dark navy blue background with contrasting white characters in an enamel or porcelain-style finish. The state name OHIO is arranged vertically on the left side within a stylized vertical border. The center displays the embossed serial number 14914 in large numerals. On the right side, the year is indicated by the numerals 19 stacked over 20. The reverse shows the negative impression of the embossed characters. The two plates are currently joined by wire through the mounting slots. Dimensions: a collection of.75 x 4.5 inches each. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pickup is Thursday, May 28 from 11 am to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
