1926 Ohio Embossed Metal Passenger License Plate - This is an authentic 1926 Ohio passenger vehicle license plate constructed of embossed metal. The plate features a centered six-digit registration number above the state name and year. The design includes horizontal mounting slots along the top edge and four circular mounting holes positioned at each corner. The reverse side shows the corresponding mirrored debossed impressions of the front text. While the original color scheme for Ohio license plates in 1926 was black characters on an orange background, no remnants of the original paint are visible on this specimen.
