Restored Wayne Visible Gas Pump with Mobilgas Branding - This is a restored antique visible gas pump, also known as a gravity pump, manufactured by the Wayne Tank and Pump Company and branded for Mobilgas. The pump features a cast iron and steel body finished in a textured red paint. A shield-shaped decal featuring the red Mobilgas Pegasus logo is applied to the central column. The unit is topped with a circular globe featuring the red Pegasus logo and the Mobilgas name, with text at the bottom edge reading Licensed by Mobil Oil Corporation, indicating it is a modern reproduction. A ten-gallon clear glass cylinder is protected by vertical metal rods and contains internal metal indicators numbered zero through ten to measure dispensed fuel. Components include a white-sheathed hose and a grey-painted metal nozzle cast with the words Morrison, Dubuque, and Fig 227. A hand-operated crank handle is located on the side of the column. A brass manufacturer plate on the body features the Wayne logo and indicates it was made in Fort Wayne, Indiana. An additional small metal plate reads For Use As A Motor Fuel Only Contains Lead (Tetraethyl). Approximate Height: 110 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available.
