Rookwood Pottery High Gloss Peach Floral Relief Vase - A mid-century American art pottery vase produced by Rookwood Pottery. This earthenware vessel features a bulbous, ovoid form with a short, flared rim and is decorated with a relief-molded floral blossom design, likely a magnolia, wrapping around the body. The piece is finished in a monochromatic, high-gloss peach or salmon-pink glaze. The underside bears the impressed Roman numeral mark XLIX, dating the piece to 1949, along with the faint impressed shape and size number 633-6. Height: Approximately 6 inches.
