A Collection of American Handmade Patchwork and Crazy Quilts - A collection of handmade quilts featuring various traditional patterns and construction techniques. The group includes a pink and white geometric patchwork quilt with floral motifs and a pinwheel design, a white quilt with a repeating green geometric block pattern, and a quilt featuring large eight-pointed blue stars on a neutral striped ground. Also included are two crazy quilts composed of asymmetrical patches in various fabrics including silks, velvets, and plaids. One crazy quilt features embroidered text reading Grace 1899. The textiles are constructed using hand-stitching, patchwork, and embroidery techniques. Shipping or bring back not available. You must come pay, load and remove during the pickup window of Thursday, March 19 from Noon to 3 pm at the home in Athens, OH. No exceptions! You don't have to take it all, just what you want. No sales tax collected on this auction.
