A Trio of Historical and Educational Media Items Relating to the Third Reich - This collection consists of three post-World War II historical and educational media items produced for the United States market. The first item is a 12-inch long play vinyl record titled Adolf Hitler Reichstag Speech September 1, 1939. It was produced by Radio Archives Records of Redmond, Washington, under catalog number LP-1003. The recording features the speech announcing the invasion of Poland and includes a translation as heard on USA radio. The second item is a VHS video cassette titled The Nazis: Nazi War Crimes, released by MPI Home Video in 1989, catalog number MP 1874. The documentary utilizes footage shot by Soviet soldiers and filmmakers and has a running time of approximately 50 minutes. The third item is a hardcover edition of the book The Rise and Fall of the Third Reich: A History of Nazi Germany by William L. Shirer, published by Simon and Schuster, New York.
