A Trio of Black Americana Still Banks Including Uncle Mose and Give Me A Penny Patterns - This group consists of three painted cast iron still banks. One figure is a Give Me A Penny bank depicting a young boy with hands on hips wearing a red hat, red collar, and black overalls. The front of the figure features embossed letters reading GIVE ME A PENNY. A coin slot is located on the upper back between the shoulder blades. The remaining two figures are Uncle Mose banks depicting an elderly man with white hair wearing a red frock coat, yellow waistcoat, yellow trousers, and holding a black top hat. These figures feature embossed letters on the lower back reading UNCLE MOSE. All three items are constructed of two-part castings held together by a single Phillips-head screw on the reverse. Give Me A Penny: 6 inches tall Uncle Mose (Large): 7.5 inches tall Uncle Mose (Small): 7 inches tall. Pickup is Wednesday, April 22 from 10 am to 3 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
