A Collection of Vintage and Antique International Coin Buttons - A collection of buttons fashioned from various international coins. The group includes examples from Australia, Peru, Great Britain, Mexico, France, and other regions. Notable pieces include a 1964 Australian penny featuring a kangaroo, a Peruvian Un Sol de Oro with a vicuña, a British 10-pence coin with a crowned lion, and several Mexican Estados Unidos Mexicanos coins depicting an eagle and snake. Also present is a 1754 Jeton des Estats de Bretagne and coins with Thai and Arabic inscriptions. The coins have been fashioned into domed buttons and are composed of various metals, including silver-toned alloys, brass-toned, and copper-toned metals. The collection is mounted on a pink grid card with a label reading COIN BUTTONS. Mounting card: 11 inches in height. Pick up is Friday, March 13 from 10 am to 4 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
