Hubley Cast Iron Mechanical Trick Dog Bank - A Hubley cast iron mechanical Trick Dog bank featuring a polychrome painted finish. The circus-themed bank depicts a clown figure standing next to a red barrel coin receptacle, with a black dog positioned on a sliding lever. The mechanical action involves the dog jumping through a wire hoop held by the clown to deposit a coin into the barrel. The base is embossed with the title TRICK DOG on the front and BANK on the side. The underside is marked PAT JULY 31 1888 and features a perforated metal plate and a small locking door.
