Blenko Glass Fire and Ice Vase #1606 in Cobalt and Yellow - This Blenko Glass Fire and Ice Vase #1606 is a 21st-century vintage original from the renowned West Virginia manufacturer. The hand-blown glass piece is executed in cobalt blue with yellow flame-like inclusions rising from a solid yellow base, featuring an incandescent effort of complementary colors fused together. The vase is designed in a baluster form with a flared rim, reflecting a mid-century modern style and production technique. Each piece is unique, with distinctive flames that surround the icy cobalt shapes. The underside of the base bears the etched mark of Blenko and the year 2007, alongside an etched signature for Richard Blenko and a partial foil manufacturer's label. The piece is accompanied by its original manufacturer's hangtag from the Blenko Glass Co., Inc. of Milton, West Virginia. Height: 17.5 inches. Burns in-house shipping is available.
