Vintage Mason's Patent Canning Jars and Related Bottles - A group of assorted vintage glass containers, primarily consisting of light blue and aqua-tinted canning jars, alongside a clear glass milk bottle. The canning jars are of sizes and styles, including standard screw-top jars and a wire-bail jar with a glass lid. jars bear the molded inscription MASON'S PATENT NOV. 30TH 1858. Specific branded examples include a jar marked ATLAS SHOULDER MASON and another marked WIDE MOUTH TELEPHONE JAR. A third example is marked BALL PERFECT MASON. Closures consist of galvanized metal screw caps, some embossed with the Ball logo. The single clear glass bottle is embossed HAMILTON MILK COMPANY and HALF PINT LIQUID. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, Jan. 30 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
