A group of 1909 VDB Lincoln Wheat Cents - A group of United States one-cent coins, identified by handwritten notation and visual inspection as 1909 VDB Lincoln Wheat Cents. The coins are composed of copper/bronze material. The obverse features the profile of Abraham Lincoln and the date 1909, while the reverse displays the Wheat Ears design inscribed 'ONE CENT, UNITED STATES OF AMERICA, ' along with the designer's initials VDB (Victor David Brenner) visible on the reverse of this specific type. Each coin is individually housed in a standard white cardboard 2x2 flip, some of which are branded 'VISIVUE' by Akro-Visicoin Co. The flips bear handwritten notations regarding grade estimations or price points (e.g., ”, ” ”1.50, ””, ” ”L”). The coins exhibit varying degrees of circulation and toning. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Friday, Jan. 30 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
