1826 United States Coronet Head Half Cent Copper Coin High Grade - This is a United States Half Cent copper coin dated 1826, struck during the Coronet Head (or Head of 1826) period. The obverse features a left-facing bust of Liberty wearing a coronet inscribed LIBERTY, encircled by stars, with the date 1826 positioned to the right of the bust. The reverse displays the denomination HALF CENT centered within an olive or laurel wreath, surrounded by the legend UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. The coin is composed of copper.
