A Royal Doulton 'Shore Leave' HN 2254 Figurine and a Pair of Leslie Cope Clown Busts - A glazed ceramic figurine by Royal Doulton, titled ”Shore Leave” (H.N. 2254), copyrighted 1964. The figurine depicts a man in a dark blue uniform with a cap, seated on a grey block, holding a small white object, with a colorful parrot on his left shoulder, accompanied by a brown birdcage and a small brown bag. Accompanying this are two smaller glazed ceramic character busts, each depicting a clown face wearing a black top hat and a ruffled collar (one yellow and black, one purple and black striped), resting on a circular base. Each bust is marked ”Leslie Cope” on the front base and ”8-10-1913” on the reverse. All pieces exhibit a glossy finish.
