A 1950s Two-Piece Gold-Tone Metal and Aurora Borealis Rhinestone Costume Jewelry Set - A two-piece costume jewelry set attributed to the 1950s. The set comprises a graduated necklace and a pair of clip-on earrings, both crafted from gold-tone metal. Each piece is heavily adorned with numerous round, faceted rhinestones that display a prominent iridescent ”aurora borealis” (AB) coating, causing them to reflect a spectrum of colors. The necklace features a simple hook clasp. The earrings are designed as clustered floral or starburst motifs with standard clip-back findings. Minor green patina and discoloration noted on the reverse gold-tone metal of the earring clips. Rhinestones appear intact and retain their sparkle. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Tuesday, Dec. 16 from 2pm to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
