Bidspirit auction | A Diverse Estate Lot of
A Diverse Estate Lot of Silver and Silverplate Flatware, Assorted Jewelry, and Travel Timepieces - This diverse estate lot features a large collection of tarnished metal flatware, including numerous forks, spoons, and knives. The lot also comprises a wide assortment of jewelry, including beaded necklaces, a group of earrings, and a collection of bracelets. Among the bracelets are a ”MEXICO STERLING” abalone-inlay cuff and a group of heavily oxidized multi-band ethnic-style bangles. Further adornments include a group of brooches (one marked ”PAT 2068400”), a collection of assorted rings, and a collection of cufflinks and tie clips displayed on a foam board. Two travel timepieces are present: an ORLOFF wristwatch and a RENSIS 7-jewel alarm clock housed in a red leather case, with its original box explicitly stating ”7 JEWELS GENUINE LEATHER”, ”1280 RECT. BABY”, ”LIZARD”, and ”RED”. Additional miscellaneous items include a Ronson Adonis lighter (”TRADE MARK NEWARK N.J. U.S.A.”), a group of loose coins, a small glass vial, a stack of plastic dice, and other small curios. One multi-band ethnic-style bangle measures approximately 6.5 inches wide. Overall condition varies. Many metal objects, including flatware and some jewelry, exhibit significant tarnishing and wear consistent with age and use. The ”MEXICO STERLING” abalone-inlay cuff shows some loss to the abalone inlay. The Ronson Adonis lighter has surface wear and rust visible on the flint wheel. The multi-band ethnic-style bangles are heavily oxidized. The RENSIS cased clock appears to be in good, preserved condition. Burns in-house shipping is available.
