A Group of Decorative Ceramics and Glass, including Villeroy & Boch 'Botanica' Canisters - A diverse collection of ceramic and glass items. Comprising a large white ceramic pitcher with a blue scalloped rim, detailed with polychrome floral and leaf transferware and molded motifs, bearing two brown circular stamps on its base for ”JOHN MADDOCK & SONS ENGLAND ROYAL VITREOUS” and ”THE HENDRICKSON CO. DECORATED FOR THE POTTER”. Also included is a two-toned brown and tan drip glaze ceramic pitcher, marked ”KATHY KALE USA” on its base. A pair of cylindrical white ceramic canisters, each with a dark wooden lid, display detailed botanical illustrations of blueberries and a pink flowering plant; their bases are marked ”Villeroy & Boch Luxembourg Botanica VITRO-Porcelaine” and include care instructions such as ”Garanti lave-vaisselle” and ”Spulmaschinenfest”. A small olive-green ceramic creamer with a raised bird motif is present. The lot further contains two small glass bottles with cork stoppers, one cobalt blue with partially legible embossed text (”...CLAR...S BLAN...”) and one dark red/amber. Completing the collection is a clear art glass basket with internal yellow swirls and an applied handle, which has faint etched markings on its underside, including a partial date ”1960”. The green ceramic creamer exhibits more pronounced surface wear and a minor chip on its base. The glass bottles show some dust and residue. The art glass basket has faint surface wear. The ceramic pitchers and canisters show minor surface wear and some discoloration consistent with age. Burns in-house shipping is available.
