American Bisque Kitten and Yarn Cookie Jar, circa 1940s-1950s - An American Bisque 'Kitten and Yarn' cookie jar, dating from the 1940s-1950s. This glazed ceramic lidded container features a pastel green body textured to resemble a ball of yarn. Two cream-colored cats adorn the piece: one with brown spots rests atop the lid, while another with black spots is positioned against the base. The underside of the base is impressed with 'USA'. Height: 8.5 inches The object appears in good overall condition. Visible crazing is present on the glazed surfaces, particularly on the base, consistent with its age. No chips or cracks are observed. Burns in-house shipping is available. Pick up is Thursday, Dec. 4 from Noon to 7 pm at our gallery in Lancaster, Ohio 43130 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
