A Pair of Victorian Brooches - A pair of Victorian-style brooches. Both pieces are constructed from a silver-toned metal. Each brooch features a central, faceted purple stone; one is an oval cut, while the other presents as a shield or heart shape, suggesting either amethyst or a paste simulant. The designs are intricately detailed with scrolling and floral motifs, typical of the Victorian aesthetic. One brooch is an oval form and the other a more ornate, scrolled rectangular shape. Widths: 2.75 inches, 2.5 inches Both brooches exhibit visible tarnish and surface wear consistent with age and use. The pin mechanisms on both appear intact and functional. No significant structural damage is immediately evident beyond expected signs of age. Burns in-house shipping is available.
