A Card of M & L Division group of Moonglow Glass Buttons - A card of M & L Division group of Moonglow Glass Buttons. This group of vintage decorative buttons are glass, including moonglow, and are neatly arranged and mounted on an aged, off-white cardboard display card. The buttons, mostly round and varying slightly in size, showcase a diverse aesthetic featuring vibrant colors such as red, pink, blue, green, yellow, black, grey, and clear/white. They are frequently embellished with gold-tone metal accents and clear faceted paste rhinestones. Designs include floral motifs, swirls, textured surfaces, and geometric patterns. Many buttons are accompanied by handwritten blue ink annotations, with recurring phrases like ”La Chic,” ”La Mode,” and ”Costume Maker.” A notable inscription points to group of specific buttons as ”Grace Kelly's Ring.” Faint text at the top of card reads ”MOON & LEWS” or ”MOON & LEWIS.” The lot also includes a separate card displaying various small knotted thread or fabric samples.
