An Archive of Vintage Black and White Film Stills and Publicity Photographs, 1940s-1960s, including 'Swiss Family Robinson', 'Sins of Pompeii', and 'Sword of Sherwood Forest' - An archive of vintage black and white film stills and publicity photographs, primarily dating from the 1940s to the 1960s. The collection is organized into numerous yellowed manila file folders, all housed within a standard cardboard Bankers Box labeled ”S3”. The photographs, made of photographic paper, depict scenes from various films and feature actors such as John Mills, Dorothy McGuire, Micheline Prelle, Richard Greene, Peter Cushing, and Dirk Bogarde. Visible file tab markings, mostly handwritten, categorize the contents by film titles including ”SWISS FAMILY ROBINSON,” ”SINS OF POMPEII,” ”SWORD OF MONTE CRISTO,” ”SLEEPING TIGER,” ”SWORD OF SHERWOOD FOREST,” and ”SLAVES OF HITLER - doc.”, often accompanied by production years (e.g., '60, '62, '64). Some photographs bear production company stamps such as ”WALT DISNEY PRODUCTIONS” or copyright information from ”Columbia Pictures Corporation.” Burns in-house shipping is available.
