A Collection of Vintage Movie Press Photos and Film Stills, 1940s-Late 20th Century, in a Bankers Box - A substantial collection of vintage movie press photos and film stills, housed within a vintage cardboard 'BANKERS BOX STOR-FILE 703'. The box contains numerous manila file folders, each bearing handwritten labels primarily listing film titles, often accompanied by years and/or actor names (e.g., ”The Opposite of Sex,” ”THE PAWNBROKER '65 ROD STEIGER,” ”THE SKIN GAME '71,” ”PARENTHOOD,” ”THE MAN WHO WASN'T THERE,” ”THE RESTLESS YEARS '40”). Interspersed among and atop these folders are a substantial number of black and white glossy film stills, typically 8x10 inches in size, depicting scenes and actors from a variety of movies. Many of the photographs feature printed production information, including film titles, cast names, copyright notices (e.g., ”Copyright © 1971 by WARNER BROS. INC.”), and occasionally specific photo credits or production numbers. The overall collection spans several decades, with visible dates ranging from the 1940s to the late 20th century, indicative of movie studio press kits or archival materials.
