ID# M9239475. 1969 Cadillac Fleetwood Sixty Special 4dr 8-cyl. 472cid/375hp 4bbl. Slick top never had vinyl, one of just 2,545 made. The Series 60 Special had the extended wheelbase and added luxury touches. This car appears to have a factory custom chrome body line delete and no chrome along the door openings, which gives it a slick, menacing dark look.  A truly huge car that makes an impression everywhere it goes. Another fun fact about this car was that it was in the movie Brubaker with Robert Redford, which was filmed in Lancaster. The scene with this caddy is in the round barn at the Fairfield County Fairgrounds. Odometer shows 32,089 although the dash cluster is not functional - speedometer, gas gauge, odometer and clock do not work. We figure this car has more like 140,000 miles on it. Great driver, drives well, powerful engine. New exhaust system, rebuilt radiator. New brake master cylinder and all new brake lines. Car has lots of power, really fun to drive. Does leak power steering fluid. Passenger side front window finally won't go up, it has been getting more and more stubborn now it won't go up. Other windows good. Interior good. Some scuffs, bubbles and dents on the body but good overall. Parking pall is a little weak, I usually keep some chocks handy. If you put it into park with gusto then the pall engages and the car won't roll away. Frame looks great along with entire undercarriage. Tires are older but I am not sure of the date, but they are what was on it when we bought it. The trunk has the neat feature where you close it partially but don't slam it, and it it then closes the rest of the way on its own. We advise you bring cash and come on down between Noon and 2 pm on Sept. 12. Once paid your purchase is your responsibility and we will not be liable nor will we refund for theft, natural disasters, damage or anything else. If you don’t come during the open pickup Sept. 12 then please make an appointment to pick up. You must remove your purchase by Sept. 19 at 5 pm. We will give you your signed notarized title when you pick up.
