17th c Oil on Panel by Moucheron & A. van Velde - 17th c. Oil on Panel of a Pastoral Scene depicting a shepherding dog, cows, and a rider on a horse presumably herding the cattle. The plaque on the front identifies Frederic de Moucheron and Adrian van de Velde --artists that were known to work collaboratively in the 1600s. There is a wax seal stamped M on the back of the panel as well as a period ink inscription of A.v.V. The reverse also bears an early pasted label reading ”Original Adrian van de Velde und Moucheron (1639-1672). Framed size is 18” x 16”. Sight size is 10” x 8”. In-house shipping available. Pickup is Monday, July 31st from 11am to 4pm in Carroll, Ohio 43112 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item.
