IMPERIAL WWI GERMAN LIONHEAD SWORD WMW WAFFEN - Imperial German lionhead Artillery officer sword manufacturer marked behind the langet ”WMW” Waffen” for Max Weyersberg of Solingen. Beautifully embellished hilt and guard with a lionhead on the crossguard and floral motifs on the hilt. Blade is in excellent condition with the exception of a slight bend at the tip. Felt washer still intact at the ricasso. The scabbard retains 90+% original black paint. Grips are in excellent condition with looseness in two wire strands. In-house shipping is available.
