Purchased at an auction in Plain City, Ohio prior to 1978. From the accompanying note: This is Bodhisattva, it is not Buddha, who is represented in the terra. It is bronze cast in the lost wax process. Part of the core and the pins holding the core in place are still evident inside. China 15th century Ming dynasty.
