SIZE: 24” barrel. NOTES: Chinese Type 24 ”Chiang Kai Shek” rifle, made by the Nanking Arsenal. Later (Post 1949) stampings on butt of stock are for the Shaanxi Provincial Militia. May of these 1930s and 40s rifles were reissued to militia groups during the Cold War era. I did not find any import markings.
