WWII German Propaganda Dropped on France - Devastation of American & British Bombers on France - World War Two Nazi German 7.875” x 11” propaganda leaflet distributed by the German forces to the French population in order to address and highlight the death and damage that Allied bombers were bringing to the French people. The front side of the leaflet states ”Stay In France !” and then quotes Winston Churchill ”War is a game that must be played with a smile” A succession of photos are titled ”Before the Bombing, During the Funeral, The Crucible, New Attack”. The back of the leaflet shows destruction and casualties in French cities and then quotes an article in the American Newspaper, Philadelphia Record; ”The United States, by bombing French Soil again, gave the only response that suited the French population”. U.S. Army Air Force General Ira Eaker is quoted; ”Our crews showed great composure during the bombing of Rouen by dropping their bombs nonchalantly”. The bold German message at the bottom reads, ”FRENCH WORKER DON'T GO TO GERMANY, wait here for the bombs from your Anglo American friends”. In-house shipping is available.
