WWII Nazi German Sexually Explicit See-Through Propaganda Leaflet Dropped on British Troops - World War Two Nazi German 1944 propaganda leaflet dropped on British troops to turn them against their American Allies. This example is a ”see-through” leaflet that has different images printed on each side. When held up to the light, the two sides are combined to form a picture. In this leaflet, the combine picture shows a dead British soldier entangled in barbed wire while above that a United States sergeant is kneeling over his wife who is lying almost completely nude with her legs spread. This leaflet is numbered AW 33e and was part of a series of 24 different see-through propaganda leaflets numbered AW33 - AW36 with four leaflets lettered a-e for each number. This leaflet was measures 4.25” x 6”. With all of the American troops in England at AAF bases or in training for the Normandy invasion on D-Day, these leaflets were undoubtedly intended to have a negative impact on those British soldiers on combat fronts whose wives / sweethearts were at home.
