WWII Nazi German Erich Kempa Autographed Letter - Adolf Hitler's Chauffeur - Typed letter signed TLS by Erich Kempka who was Adolf Hitler's primary chauffeur from 1936 - 1945. The letter was written to authenticate Adolf Hitler's rain cape that Kempka sold in 1971. He had kept it as a souvenir and had maintained possession of it from 1945 - 71. He discusses photographs of Hitler wearing the cape and stated that Hitler carried it constantly. He also describes the physical characteristics of the cape. He was present in the area of the Reich Chancellery on April 30, 1945 when Hitler shot himself in the Fuhrerbunker. Kempka delivered the petrol to the garden behind the Reich Chancellery, where the remains of Hitler and Eva Braun were burned. In-house shipping is available.
