WWII Nazi German Autographed Photo Albert Speer and WIlly Fiedler - Post war photograph and autographs of Albert Speer, German Minister of Armaments, and WIlly A. Fiedler, German Aerospace expert who was involved with Nazi Germany's V-1 missile program. The autographs are on a post war 8” x 10” photograph. Speer is pictured in the forefront second from left and is engaged in conversation with Fiedler who is pictured second from the right. Both autographs are signed in blue ink. During World War Two, Speer served as the Minister of Armaments and War Production in Nazi, Germany. He remained a close ally of Adolf Hitler throughout the war. At the Nuremberg Trials, Speer was found guilty of war crimes and crimes against humanity, principally for the use of slave labor and forced labor. He served his entire 20 year term in Spandau Prison and was released in 1966. During WW2, Willy Fiedler became a test pilot in Germany and played a leading role in the development of the V-1 rocket. Thousands of these rockets were fired from sites in France at London and other targets in England causing tens of thousands of casualties. Fiedler moved to the United States in 1948 to work on missile development projects including development of the Navy's Polaris ballistic missile. From 1956 to 1973, he worked for the Missiles and Space Division of the Lockheed Aircraft Corporation in Sunnyvale, California. In-house shipping is available.
