WWII Nazi German Luftwaffe BV 138 C-1 Seaplane 1942 Manual - World War Two 1942 operation and maintenance manual for the Luftwaffe BV 138 C-1 Seefernaufklarer - Maritime Patrol Aircraft (MPA). This manual folds out to 6, two sided pages printed on a glossy thick stock paper. 117cm x 148cm (4.1875” x 5.75”). Overall excellent condition with no tears. Some minor wear/staining along the spine. The Blohm & Voss BV 138 Seedrache (Sea Dragon) was a trimotor flying boat - fixed wing seaplane designed and built by the German aircraft manufacturer Blohm & Voss. It served as the Luftwaffe's primary seaborne long-range maritime patrol and naval reconnaissance aircraft operated by the Luftwaffe during the Second World War. The C-1 model was introduced in March 1941. The prototype was introduced in 1937 and the A-1 model made its first flight in April 1940. Only 297 BV 138 were produced.
