WWII 1938 - 1939 Adolf Hitler Press Photograph Lot - Poland and Austria - World War Two Nazi German leader Adolf Hitler featured in 6 press photographs that are related to the Invasion of Poland or anschluss (annexation) of Austria. These are International News Photo images with the attached paper descriptions on the reverse and date stamped 1938 - 1939. They are first generation wartime photographs, not post war reprints. Each photo measures approx. 8.5” x 6.5”. The subject matter includes; 1. Hitler shaking hands with a soldier in the hospital who was wounded in the riots at Linz, 2. Hitler greeting citizens from the 2nd floor of a home in Linz (a newspaper clipping showing this actual photo is attached to the back), 3.
