WWII Nazi German Hoffmann - Strassberg Real Photo Postcard RPPC Lot of Knight's Cross Recipients - World War Two Nazi German Real Photo postcard lot RPPC of five Hoffmann - Strassberg postcards featuring recipients of the Knight's cross of the Iron Cross. The postcards are war time period, not later reprints. Each card measures 5.86” x 4.14” (14.88 cm x 10.51cm) This lot features; 1. Sebastian Reiser. Knight's Cross. unteroffizier who as a cannoneer in artillery regiment 297 destroyed 14 Soviet tanks with a light field howitzer. Later captured and died in a POW camp near Stalingrad February 1, 1943. 2. Joachim Muncheberg. Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves and Swords. Luftwaffe pilot credited with 135 aerial victories. Killed in an engagement over Tunisia on March 23, 1943. 3. Gordon Gollob. Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves, Swords and Diamonds. Austrian Luftwaffe Pilot with 150 aerial victories. 4. Erich Schuster. Knight's Cross. Paratrooper - Fallschirmjager-Sturm-Regiment. Killed January 11, 1943 in the Tunisia campaign. 5. Walter Storp. Knight's Cross with Oak Leaves. Luftwaffe Pilot and ended the war as Generalmajor and commander of the 5th Fliegerdivision in Norway. In-house shipping is available.
