WWII German Adhesive Cards Used in Alsace - Lorraine”You Are A German Your Greeting is Heil Hitler” - World War Two Nazi German lot of 3 small 10.5cm x 5.5cm (4.1” x 2.1”) adhesive back cards - signs that were made for use in Alsace- Lorraine after the 1940 French Surrender and German annexation of Alsace and the Moselle region of Lorraine. The card's slogan ”Du bist ein Deutscher! Dein Gruß: Heil Hitler” (You are German! Your Greeting: Heil Hitler) was part of the German effort to instill Nazi values into the population and eliminate any aspects of the French culture. These cards were never used - each one retains it's adhesive glue backing that is activated when moistened. One of the cards is in near mint condition while the other two have only minor edge wear and a few barely visible creases. In-house shipping is available. Open pickup is Tuesday, Oct. 29 from Noon to 7 pm at our offices in Carroll, OH 43112 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. We charge $5/lot if you want to pick up a different day.
