WWI M1916 Holster Identified & Unit Marked Made by Clinton Dated 1917 - World War One M 1916 holster for the M1911 U.S. Army .45 auto. Inside flap is stenciled E. B. HAYDEN and is stamped 408 TB / E / 53. Dated 1917, maker stamped Clinton, and J.N.S. inspector stamped. Holster has a modification consisting of two ”D” ring attachments possibly for a cross strap. Note that the exact style rivet that was used on the back of the holster was used to secure the D ring. Leather is supple with minor wear. No tears or holes. In-house shipping is available.
