WWI U.S. 36th Division Ided Group - Paul Galvin - Co Founder of MOTOROLA - World War One grouping of Paul Galvin, a Lieutenant in the 131st Field Artillery of the 36th Infantry Division - Texas Division. . This grouping includes his dog tag, annotated photograph of Galvin in uniform wearing a gas mask, a 36th Division patch, war dated telegrams, three war dated letters including one written on YMCA stationery, a souvenir religious medallion of his 1st Communion and various other family ephemera. In 1928, Brothers Paul and Joseph Galvin founded Galvin Manufacturing Company in Chicago, Illinois. Paul Galvin was the creator of the automobile radio and in 1930 the company sold its first ”Motorola” car radio. The brand name became so popular that in 1947, the Corporation's name was changed to Motorola. In-house shipping is available.
