WWI U.S. Patriotic ”Over The Top” Painted Banner - Tapestry - World War One painted felt banner - tapestry featuring American doughboys in a trench in ”No Man's Land”. Airplanes fly overhead through bursts of artillery fire. The banner is bordered with the flags of Allied nations. The top of the banner reads, ”Over The Top”. At the bottom and beneath a field of poppies a painted scroll reads, ”The Supreme Sacrifice For Everlasting Peace”. This piece is attached to a wooden dowel rod and measures 19” x 8.75”. It is in overall excellent condition retaining 99% of the original paint. In-house shipping is available. Open pickup is Tuesday, Oct. 29 from Noon to 7 pm at our offices in Carroll, OH 43112 or we will provide in-house shipping for this item. We charge $5/lot if you want to pick up a different day.
