WWI U.S. Soldier Otto Crank's 1st Division 16th Infantry Patriotic Service Memorial - World War One Patriotic Soldier memorial for Otto Thomas Crank who enlisted April 14, 1917 and served in Co. L of the 16th Infantry. This unusual poster features the Statue of Liberty flanked by the American, French, and British flags. Printed in an arc above is ”THE GREAT WAR AGAINST PRUSSIAN MILITARISM FOR DEMOCRACY AND THE RIGHT TO LIVE IN PEACE.” Cranks's personal information is written in the bottom section that also includes spaces to list commanding officers. Good - very good condition with some edge wear and creases. The colors are still bold and vibrant with no fading. Measures 16” x 21”. It appears that Crank had prior service with Co.
