The external hammer configuration and Damascus barrel construction indicate late 19th or early 20th century manufacture. Serial number 18-63178. The Damascus barrels display the characteristic patterning of this era's barrel manufacturing technique. The nickel plating adds visual appeal and indicates quality of original manufacture.
