Finely Carved Gothic Revival Walnut Cabinet Cupboard, circa 1880 - A late nineteenth-century French Gothic Revival cabinet in walnut, the façade carved with lion-mask motifs and fitted with a pair of paneled doors opening to a shelved interior. The upper case is set above two inset drawers with hand-cut dovetails and oak secondary wood, over a recessed lower plinth. The cabinet is constructed as a single piece and retains a shallow, practical depth. The walnut shows well-figured boards and an attractive aged patina. 64 3/8 in. H x 38 in. W x 16 5/8 in. D
