Two Tone Stoneware Shoulder Jug - A large two-tone stoneware shoulder jug featuring a cylindrical body, conical shoulder, and a narrow mouth with a single loop handle. The vessel is constructed with a light-colored Bristol-type glaze on the lower two-thirds of the body, contrasted by a dark brown Albany-type slip glaze covering the shoulder, neck, and handle. The light-colored glazed area exhibits an all-over crazed finish. There are faint, dark discolorations on the body, though no characters or numbers are legible as a maker mark or capacity stamp. The underside of the base is unglazed, showing a coarse, porous ceramic texture with scattered dark stains and no maker marks or signatures. Height: 14.5 inches.
