Bidspirit auction | An Assortment of 1988 Fleer

An Assortment of 1988 Fleer Major League Baseball Trading Cards - A collection of ungraded Major League Baseball trading cards from the 1988 Fleer base set. Each card features the distinctive 1988 design characterized by a gray background with vertical white stripes and team-color coded borders. The cards are individual standard-sized prints on cardstock. Notable visible players include Bob Dernier (Phillies #469), Steve Bedrosian (Phillies #463), Stan Javier (Athletics #624), John Costello (Cardinals #415), Craig Lefferts (Giants #168), Juan Berenguer (Twins #503), Doyle Alexander (Tigers #581), and Kelly Gruber (Blue Jays #106). The cards are organized into stacks and housed in rigid plastic top-loaders, with some groups further contained in clear poly-bags. A gold-toned oval adhesive label reading MADE IN CHINA is present on the exterior of several plastic top-loaders (photos 1, 2, and 5); this label is applied to the protective housing and is not a part of the cards themselves.
