Custom Handmade File Steel Skinning Knife with Gut Hook and Leather Sheath - A custom fixed-blade skinning knife crafted from a repurposed metal steel file. The blade retains the distinctive cross-hatched rasp texture of the original tool across both faces and the spine. The blade profile features a deep belly, a drop point, and a sharpened gut hook integrated into the spine near the tip. The handle is a full-tang construction with multi-part composite scales. The forward bolster section is comprised of a light-colored natural material with yellowish and white graining, while the main grip consists of a dark green marbled acrylic resin featuring white and emerald inclusions. The scales are secured to the tang with four brass pins and include a brass-lined lanyard hole at the pommel. The knife is accompanied by a brown leather belt sheath featuring a stitched welt and stamped decorative scrollwork on the face. No maker marks, tang stamps, or signatures are visible on the blade, handle, or sheath.
